Featuring: Steve Bartkowski Pro Bowl Quarterback for the Atlanta Falcons
In 1975, Steve Bartkowski was the first pickin the 1975 NFL draft selected by the Atlanta Falcons. He was their starting Quarterback
for the following 11 seasons and was the NFL’s highest rated Quarterback for three years. Bartkowski was selected to the Pro
Bowl after both the 1980 and 1981 seasons and earned All-Pro honors as the most valuable player in the NFC in 1980. He is
one of only a few NFL Quarterbacks ever to throw for 30 or more touchdowns in consecutive seasons. Steve still holds virtually
all the passing records for the Atlanta Falcons (Touchdowns, Total Yardage, etc.), and helped to lead the Falcons to two divisional championships.

play the college game. The All-American won the Heisman by the second largest margin of victory in the trophy’s history. He
became the first receiver in Big Ten history to lead the conference in scoring as he set or tied five NC AA records and 12
single-season Michigan records. He went on to have an 11-year pro football career highlighted by such memorable moments as
scoring the first game winning touchdown in Jacksonville Jaguars’ history and becoming the first special teams player to be
named Most Valuable Player of the Super Bowl as a member of the Green Bay Packers. He was selected to the Pro Bowl in 2000
