As Assistant Secretary for Housing-Federal Housing Commissioner, Brian D. Montgomery is responsible for overseeing the $400
billion Federal Housing Administration (FHA) insurance portfolio. In addition, he oversees HUD's regulatory responsibilities
in the areas of the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA), the housing mission of GSEs, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac
and the manufactured housing industry. Since being Senate confirmed at HUD in June 2005, Montgomery's primary initiatives include
the creation and promotion of a bill designed to modernize FHA and the preservation of affordable multifamily rental housing,
achieved primarily through mortgage insurance, and flexible refinancing options.

President Bush named Ronald A. Rosenfeld to the Board and designated him Chairman on December 14, 2004. He was unanimously
confirmed by the US Senate to serve a term which will expire in 2009. From July 2001 to December 2004, Rosenfeld served as
President of Ginnie Mae, the Government National Mortgage Association, a wholly-owned government corporation established within
the Department of Housing and Urban Development to promote nationwide access to mortgage credit. Rosenfeld previously held
the office of Secretary of Commerce in the state of Oklahoma, serving under Governor Frank Keating from 1995-98.
