Survival Training (Part 1) Moderators: Mary Morstadt & Susan DeMars Presenter: Regina M. Lowrie, CMB, MBA Chairman Does your association have what it takes to survive in today’s challenging environment? What will your association look like
in 2010... in 2016? What internal and external forces will determine your relevance over the next several years? How will
the role of state and local associations evolve? Explore answers to these questions through such topics as strategic planning,
conflict resolution, and the ongoing need for redefining association goals and objectives to reflect rapidly changing industry
dynamics and member needs.
In addition, the session looks at association trends, including strategies adopted in states with loan officer licensing to
serve the pre- and post- licensing educational needs of loan officers. Further discussion will provide a clearinghouse of
ideas for aligning membership recruitment and retention strategies with changing trends and evolving association roles.
Two sessions are devoted to these important topics.
